The clubs national event competitors were recognised as junior a team of the Year for their podium success at all 3 national diving competitions during 2022: FB Junior Elites, Swim England National Age Groups and Swim England National Skills with the award being collected by the teams coaches and medal winners Malcolm, Chris, Lizzy, Lauren, Molly, Maya, Hernan, Ryan and Evie.

Matt Pipe, one of the clubs 11 volunteer coaches, was recognised by the event judging panel as Coach of the Year for his outstanding contribution to the towns sporting success.

Finally, James West was presented the Male Junior Sports Personality of the Year in recognition of his sporting performance as a past gymnast, diver, coach and now British Powerlifting Champion.

The annual evening is humbling in its showcasing of young talent from across the local sports clubs and schools and one that Albatross is proud to be a part of.
