British Junior Elite Diving Championships
We join Albatross at the British Junior Elite Diving Championships 2022 in Southend with Lauren taking the silver medal in Girls B 1m at the second day of the 4 day event. With competition from across the UK and abroad (with guest divers from Sweden, Finland, the US and Canada at this years championships), Lauren remained consistent throughout both prelims and finals to put in an enjoyable performance for all those attending or watching remotely on Dive Recorder.
Malcolm Green, Charlotte West and Matt Pipe are also seen in our photo wall with their fellow judges modelling the new British Diving shirts.
Day 3 saw another fantastic day in Southend for Team Albatross with Lauren picking up her second silver medal of the championships, this time on the 3m springboard. Putting in another consistent performance, with a new personal best score, Lauren showed both the mental and physical stamina required to maintain position at this high standard junior event. 🥈
In a final congratulations to Lauren and Malcolm for another terrific performance on the final day of the British Junior Elite Diving Championships in Southend. Taking 5th place in the Girls B Platform Lauren can take away 3 finals, 2 silver medals, and a new PB from this competition. Fantastic.
