Regional Skills Qualifier — South East 2026
The seasons qualifiers closed this weekend with the Southeast Skills proudly hosted at our home pool in Reading. As the sun shone outside so too did our divers with regional medalists and qualifying scores achieved by team members and visiting clubs commenting positively on the event, the pool and our club.

This enjoyable competition also saw the remaining team members Poppy, Livi, Makar, Molly, Isabelle, Annabelle, Flynn, Bella, Albert, Luca and Pippa all put in strong performances with Annabelle, Bella, Luca and Flynn competing for the first time at this level.
Being our home region event we had lots of club support from officials and volunteers for which we are thankful and some excellent cake sellers in Ellie, Livi, Poppy and Kate who were complemented along with others on giving the event a welcoming feel.
We were pleased to welcome representatives from Swim England Southeast Region including President Peter Roycroft and thank both the Swim England Diving and Rivermead Leisure Centre for all their support both before and during the event.
Albatross will now host its own Interclub event on Sunday 14 June which will see it once more play host to clubs from across the South and Midlands and we proudly announce that the following 10 Skills divers have now successfully qualified for the Swim England Diving National Skills Finals in Southampton in July:
