Team Albatross competed successfully in the 6th Ulla Klinger Memorial Cup.  Hosted by the German Diving Club SV Neptun Aachen. This junior international event attracts divers from as far afield as Germany, Croatia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Ukraine and Russia.  Albatross divers faced stiff competition and were proud to return with a record medal haul.

Albatross did exceptionally well to bring home a silver and four bronze individual medals alongside a gold medal in the boys A/B synchronised diving event.

  • Lauren Saunders  girls D 3m bronze medalist (189.85) and girls D platform bronze medalist (164.35)
  • James West boys B 1m bronze medalist (338.50)
  • Quinn Shaw boys B platform platform bronze medalist (319.80)
  • Ethan Jones and Quinn Shaw boys A/B 3m synchronised gold medalists (220.11)

Team Albatross included divers who were competing outside England for the very first time.  Meah Thorngate had her best placing on platform in girls group D (126.20).  Maya Peche and Hernan Mosqueda-Jolly were both competing in group C events.  Maya scored 188.85 on 1m and Hernan 203.25 in his 3m event.

In group A Charlotte West and Lizzie Cullen faced strong international competition.  On 3m Charlotte placed 5th (337.05) with Lizzie 8th (268.55).  Fortunes were reversed on platform with Lizzie in 4th (282.30) and Charlotte 5th (280.05)
