A team of Albatross divers travelled to Crawley to compete at The South East Region National Skills Level 2 qualifer at the K2 Leisure Centre, Crawly. The team consisted of Isabel Holloway, Sophie Bailey, Milly Orgill, William Frewin, Lottie Gosling, Freya Nelis and Henry Middleton.

Competing in the girls group D event was Isabel and Sophie. Isabel was the first to dive, she had a good competition scoring well on her back dive tuck from the 1 metre board to take a well deserved 3rd place. Sophie had a steady competition scoring well on her inward dive pike from 1 metre to finish the event in 8th place.

The next diver representing Albatross was Milly in the girls group C. Diving very well, she scored high marks for her poolside dives and inward dive tuck from 1 metre. In a very tight competition Milly had to eventually settle for 8th place.

William was diving In the boys group C. He put in a very good set of dives scoring well on his back dive tuck from 1 metre. William finally finished in 4th place just missing out on bronze by two and a half points.

Freya and Lottie were our competitors in the girls group B+ event. Lottie dived consistently scoring well on her inward one and a half somersaults tuck from the 3 metre. Lottie finished in 8th place.
Freya had a very good competition scoring almost 50 points on her inward one and half somersaults tuck from the 1 metre board. In an extremely close competition Freya took the bronze medal, just missing out on silver by 0.15 of a mark.

In the final event of the day Henry dived in the boys B+ event. He had an extremely good event scoring highly on all of his dives, especially on his forward one and a half somersaults tuck line up from the 3 metre board with 7.5s from all judges. Henry took the silver medal.

All divers did extremely well and all gained the qualifying marks to compete at the National Finals in Manchester in July.
